Integration of <oXygen/> XML Editor with the Intel^® XML Software Suite

To enhance productivity with XML Schema validation and XSLT transformation using Intel^® XML Software Suite, <oXygen/> XML Editor has built special support to easily configure and use the Intel XML Software Suite in its normal development work flow. The Intel XML Software Suite consists of the Intel^® XML Parsing Accelerator, the Intel^® XML Schema Accelerator and the Intel^® XSLT Accelerator. The integration works both in the standalone version of <oXygen/> and in the Eclipse plugin version.

Easy installation

Visit http://www.intel.com/software/xmlsoftwaresuite to download an evaluation copy of Intel XML Software Suite. To configure it in <oXygen/> all you need is to use the <oXygen/> XML Editor options to locate the Intel XML Software Suite *.jar file.

XML validation against XML Schemas

The Intel XML Software Suite can be configured as the engine for validating XML documents against XML Schema in an <oXygen/> XML Editor validation scenario or just used directly from the list of available validation engines.

XML Schema validation

The XML Schemas themselves can be validated against the The Intel XML Software Suite XML Schema engine.

XSLT transformations

When you select the Intel XML Software Suite as the XSLT engine in a transformation scenario the <oXygen/> XML Editor will use it for the XSLT transformations.

XSLT validation

XSLT stylesheets can be checked against the Intel XML Software Suite XSLT engine by selecting the Intel XML Software Suite as the default engine for XSLT 1.0 validation.
