Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on 07/06/2021.

Making our software, support, and website accessible to all is an important initiative to ensure that we are being inclusive of all people, no matter their abilities. Syncro Soft is committed to continually improving the accessibility of our technologies and empowering users to make informed choices.

For our websites, Syncro Soft follows design practices that correspond to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. It is our goal to meet Level AA standards across our sites.

For our software products and related documentation, Safe Software has assessed our products against the WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA requirements, and the Revised Section 508 Standards. We maintain Software Accessibility Conformance Reports (also called VPATs) for Oxygen XML products which are updated at each major release.

Measures to Support Accessibility

Syncro Soft takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of Syncro Soft:

  • Set clear goals: We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 Level A (WCAG 2.1 A) across all of our products. We have work still to do, but we are moving toward that goal.
  • Regularly measure our progress: We check our product accessibility through a formal quality assurance process is used throughout product design and development. Manual and automated testing help us catch and correct accessibility issues earlier.
  • Build accessibility in: Our team is working through a prioritized list of known accessibility issues, and we have made addressing those issues a measurable part of Syncro Soft’s goals each quarter.
  • Train our staff: True accessibility won’t come from filling out checklists. So we’re training our team to understand accessibility as central to a successful product instead of as an afterthought.
  • Listen to feedback: We want to hear from you about any accessibility issues you find while using our websites, services or products. We aim to respond to you within two business days.

Product VPAT Statements

As part of our commitment to create accessible products, we have provided VPATs (Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates) for the products below:

Browser Compatibility

The site has been cross-platform and cross-browser tested and is currently compatible with modern browsers including Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome most up to date version. We aim to make our products and services compatible with all modern browsers. Certain products are also compatible with legacy browsers. This is noted in the relevant product documentation.

Assistive Technologies Compatibility

We do our best to make our products and services accessible to a wide variety of assistive technologies. Our screen reader testing typically involves using the latest versions of JAWS and NVDA.

  • Embedded videos can sometimes be difficult to use with assistive technology.
  • PDFs and documents are not always accessible.
  • We aim to provide captions and/or transcripts with all our videos but that might not be available for older videos.
  • We do not provide audio descriptions for videos but aim to provide visual content in alternative formats where possible.
  • When the site is zoomed in, the mobile version of navigation cannot be fully accessed using the keyboard. We are working to address this issue and alternative links to the sections are available in the page footer area.

It is our intention to resolve any complaint to your satisfaction, however, should you have any requests to exercise your legal rights, please contact our Compliance Officer email: .
